1Preparation stage

Cleaning and Inspection:

Clean the machine and work environment to ensure that the vacuum system is working properly.

Check if all components of the edge banding machine, such as cutting tools, glue boxes, power cords, etc., are intact and undamaged.

Adjust parameters:

Adjust the position of the auxiliary support rod according to the size and thickness of the workpiece to be processed.

2Loading and positioning

Install edge banding:

Install the edge banding and adjust the width limit position of each part of the edge banding to ensure that it passes smoothly and is not too tight.

Place the workpiece:

Place the workpiece to be processed on the conveyor belt, tightly against the guide rail baffle, to ensure accurate positioning of the workpiece.

3Edge sealing stage

Start the machine:

Connect the trachea, maintain stable air pressure, and check that all parts have normal air pressure and smooth ventilation.

After checking that the power cord is connected correctly, start the edge banding machine.

Glue application and compression:

The edge banding machine uses special settings and structures to apply double-sided adhesive to the processed workpiece and edge banding strip, enhancing adhesion.

Equipped with pneumatic compression function, the pressure can be adjusted to ensure a tight fit between the edge sealing strip and the workpiece.

Head and tail alignment and trimming:

Use linear guides to ensure the flatness of the edge sealing surface of the edge banding board.

Use precision cutting tools to remove excess edge banding on the upper and lower sides of the edge banding board, ensuring that the width of the edge banding is consistent with the width of the edge banding board.

Scratching and polishing:

Scrape off the ripple marks generated during the curve edge sealing process to ensure that the edge sealing and surrounding areas of the board are smooth and flat.

Polish the edge banding board to achieve the required color and smoothness.

4Inspection and repair

Check the finished product:

After completing the processing of each workpiece, first check the quality of the first finished product, including whether the edge is flat, whether there are burrs, etc.

Repair and adjustment:

Based on the inspection results, fine tune the trimming amount and curvature to ensure the quality of the subsequent finished products.

5End of work

Turn off the machine:

After all the board edges are sealed, turn off the edge banding machine and disconnect the power supply.

Clean up the work area:

Clean the residue on the surface and inside of the edge banding machine, such as glue, sawdust, etc., to keep the equipment clean.

Maintenance and upkeep:

Regularly maintain and upkeep the edge banding machine, such as refueling, tightening screws, replacing worn parts, etc., to extend the service life of the equipment.

During the entire operation process, it is necessary to pay attention to safe use of electricity and avoid mechanical injuries. Meanwhile, for boards of different materials and sizes, it is necessary to adjust the parameters appropriately to ensure the edge sealing effect.
